Four Paintings - THE JOURNEY

I painted these four little acrylic paintings representing the four stages of my journey.
The First Painting:
                                  Travelling ..... WATER & EMOTION

I was a mess. Family problems had engulfed me. Walking (whilst crying) up to the lighthouse at Byron Bay was one of those "filling up the ocean" walks!
On the way down I was lucky enough to see not only canoes in the ocean but also a pod of dolphins. The light suddenly appeared and as if tapping me on my shoulder a larger picture could now be vaguely seen.No it isn`t a UFO!
Waves of pain and sadness, tears & stress. Water & Emotion.

The Second Painting:

Travelling ..... FINDING THE CENTRE WITHIN

I had this sudden urge to pack up my bags and head off into the Outback. Red earth, huge horizons, quiet clean air. Pure colours. I needed to find myself. I needed time alone and time to reflect and settle my emotions bringing them back into a sense of wholeness, belonging and beauty. Mother Earth cradled me in her arms.
Nourishment, soul food. Healing. MEDITATION & Finding The Centre Within.

The Third Painting:

                              Travelling ...... GROWTH & EXPANSION

All about travelling on the spiritual road. Door open and window open.
Widening my view and angle of perspective. Forgiveness, letting go of attachments and judgements. Acceptance of the 'whole'. Letting more light in. Being open. Seeing more clearly. Green, life, heart - Growth & Expansion.

And the Fourth Painting:

                           Travelling ...... CLIMBING THE MOUNTAIN

More meditation. More letting go of resistances. More watching of my emotional reactions. More respect for self and the journey within. Care for self (body, mind & spirit). More soul food- passion expressed. More inner peace. Deeper understanding. Tougher problems faced with gratitude and love.Climbing The Mountain.

I took this photo (of my painting) the other day and thought it was a reflection of the Top Of The Mountain - meaning our unravelling of who we are.
The house homes our spirit and the cross symbolizes our connection to the Creator (God).

                                           TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN

We all walk through the darkness to get to the light.
It seems that where we are heading is to the top of the mountain where our house is filled with the freedom of wholeness. No bondage. Flight.
Beauty, Peace, Truth, Divinity. LOVE.

I do hope that my stories of miraculous healings, and how they came about, plus some metaphysical meanderings as well as my daily life, & paintings & poetry, will fill your days with hope, healing, creativity and the Great Mystery.

CANCER - Recognizing An Opportunity For Inner Growth Aids The Healing Process

CANCER is such a frightening word yet, hidden in the story of dis-ease is a remarkable opportunity to grow spiritually.
Life takes on new meaning as respect and gratitude for the 'little' things in life grows.

Life was never meant to be easy - but with RIGHT THINKING, and doing, the journey can be rewarding and expansive creating much healing and joy.

                                          Rocky Terrain
                                          Aware of the Journey
                                          GROWTH Becomes You

On the horizon there is new growth - green and actually quite lush!
One has to cross, and travel through, the rocky landscape in order to reach the green. Green is the colour of the heart chakra and reflects, and expresses, love for oneself and others.

Easier said than done you might be thinking right now   Read on ....

PLEASE NOTE : 1998 I WAS A CONFIRMED TERMINAL Ca. PATIENT

In 1998 I had a confirmed diagnosis of advanced ovarian cancer and was
given a prognosis of possibly living for 8 WEEKSSo I do know what this rocky barren wasteland  feels like. The end of the world. Shocking. Crushing. Panicked and hysterical at first, I cried me an ocean. For about two hours I could not stop bawling my eyes out and this was in the Hospital foyer.
Once home somehow I stopped crying, and still shaking stumbled into my bedroom, quietly shutting the door behind me.
Inside I sat very still on the edge of the bed - quiet - not wanting to speak or see anybody. It felt as if there was a huge black hole inside me filled with nothing but emptiness.
My world had just collapsed into a thousand pieces.

My motto had always been to make the most of what you have. I always search for the good in people and situations. Challenging indeed but worth the effort. Rewards are very obvious.

Having cancer gives one the opportunity to change - literally for the better.
Letting go of old thought patterns, beliefs and habitual emotional responses has definitely made me a better woman - inside and out.
Healing is a body, mind and spirit thing whether we like it or not!

Closeup Trees on the Horizon CMW Acrylic
1/ First of all please read the previous blog post as it outlines simple stress reduction how-tos  ....  then take action! YOU DESERVE IT!!!
2/ Please remove yourself from Wifi and computer stations. Only check out emails, blogs, facebook etc for 1/2 an hour at a time - a hard task but worth it - only twice a day and NEVER after four pm. NO Computers on in bedroom. If have an ipad then make sure wifi in another room and SWITCHED OFF at plug when not using!
Go outside and sit, lie, take a walk in nature. DAILY. Nature, and its sounds, (Life) helps to reorganize your electro-magnetic field ie. tunes you up!
3/ Please breathe deeply a few times a day - preferably with back straight and in nature.
4/ Check that you have drank water, not soda, coffee, milk drinks.
Check that you are eating  healthy, non-polluted foods.
Bowels open? Gone for a walk? Pampered yourself?
5/  Have quiet time for meditation/getting out of the head/visualization. Stillness.

Now the question is this Do you want to reach for the stars? Do you want to heal?
photograph of a postcard on a wall - thanks to whoever created this - great message & painting
If not - why not?       possible answers:   unloved
                                                                  unworthy
too hard, no energy, no direction in life
                                                                  no future
                                                                  have sadness
have pain, hatred, anger    etc etc

If you want to reach for the stars then

NOW IS THE TIME TO START LOOKING TRUTHFULLY
AT YOUR FEELINGS, ACTIONS, THOUGHTS, WORDS

Be brave, have courage and start seeing yourself truthfully. DON`T JUDGE yourself - just recognize & reflect on the self-destructive emotional reactions like jealousy, judgements, criticisms, anger, hurt, sadness.

We fill up our lives with things we think we need & still we are not satisfied!
In truth we need love - to give, and to receive, and we also need to express our individual passion. This ignites love, opens the chakras and allows healing in.

It is actually really good to express all our emotions, but if emotions are less than love, and one keeps reacting and reacting, then ones reactions become destructive. Healing then CANNOT take place.
Habitual responses are a bummer and one has to work on reprogramming the mind to delete the heavy burden that these less than Divine emotions have placed on us.

We are all human and we all react differently. Hanging on to selfish, and less than happy and peaceful, thought patterns creates more of the same. Move on, let go. You deserve better.

TODAY IS THE DAY THAT WE MAKE

LOOK FOR THE BEAUTY OF CREATION
                              IN EVERY SINGLE MOMENT
THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD
EMBRACE THE 'NOW', NOT THE PAST, OR THE FUTURE

Shed The Old You and Bring In The New
Shed The Old You And Bring In The New
NEW BEGINNINGS and Rearranging The Old
It takes wisdom and strength, and courage, to add more sweetness to your life.
It also takes time, perseverance and commitment.

Every time you emotionally react to something (and you don`t feel happy), feel that you are tapping yourself on the shoulder to alert you to your fearful reaction etc and take a few beautiful deep breaths in and on the outward breath say to yourself "I`m safe, I`m loved and I`m alive". De-stress.

Have faith in yourself & in our Creator (the incredible creative mind that made everything on the planet and beyond).
Inner growth expands consciousness and spreads like a shock-wave across the universe. Thought patterns travel and imprint on everything.
Neighbours, friends and family all reap the benefits of a more peaceful and loving you (and me).

EXPRESS LOVE:
FORGIVENESS, GRATITUDE, COMPASSION, BEAUTY
LISTEN WITHOUT JUDGEMENT, PLANT A TREE, NURTURE A CHILD, NURTURE YOURSELF, SAY "I LOVE YOU", SPEAK TRUTHFULLY, HAVE SELF-RESPECT & RESPECT FOR OTHERS.

                                             LOVE YOURSELF
                                         LIKE ATTRACTS LIKE
                                LOVE IS THE GREATEST HEALER

Love can make miracles happen
Just have a look at the beautiful miracle that you are
Creation, when given love, and right thoughts and actions, creates perfectly and puts into action our emotionally charged thoughts and words.

Enjoy the miracle of creation
Fill yourself with new light
See beauty in a leaf, a flower,
Hear beauty in the early morning birdsong
And feel beauty in your heart
As I feel in mine

Much love CMW
